Dog Training Canada is being developed by Roger Hild of Tsuro Dog Training and Tsuro Lhasa Apsos, to be a resource for both the dog owning public as well as new trainer development.  By drawing on the wisdom and knowledge of some of dog training's most highly respected professionals, dog owners and trainers can benefit greatly from the literally hundreds of years of results-based experience that we represent.

For my wife Susan and myself, even though we had been around dogs most of our lives, the journey really began in 1982.  Since that time we've been actively involved with training, showing, breeding and learning all we could about dogs.  This has been a labour of love as we continually work toward improving the wonderful bond between owners and their canine companions.

When we first started this journey, we entered a culture whose wealth of knowledge and experience extended for thousands of years into the past.  The relationship between man and dog has foundations that go back to creation itself. Those that had gone before were happy to share their experience and wisdom with those of us who were new to this culture and with their guidance, support and tutoring we slowly grew and developed skills and abilities of our own.  We've discovered that our own growth also benefited greatly as we passed along what we have learned - and this we continue to do to this very day. 

Dog Training contains within it a huge body of knowledge, skills, techniques and approaches.  Therefore, we have always used as our guiding principles that which is Effective and Humane.
